100 Knot Smooth Chord Prayer Rope

The use of the Orthodox prayer rope is ancient. It symbolizes the ladder seen by Jacob in his dream, reminding the user of the spiritual ladder of ascent into heaven. The invocation of the name of Jesus is a powerful tool and a means of achieving a spiritual union with God. The prayer rope is used to count the number of times the prayer is said. It is also used as a reminder to pray without ceasing. The words of the Jesus Prayer are: “Lord Jesus Christ, son of God, have mercy on me a sinner”. Prayer ropes made out of smooth cord are available in black, brown, dark blue, red purple and gold.

Lunch will be served immediately after the ground blessing.
