We are an Orthodox monastic community under the omophorion of His Eminence Archbishop NATHANIEL of the Romanian Orthodox Episcopate of the Orthodox Church in America.
Our Monastery is located in south central Michigan, seven miles north of Jackson, in the small farming community of Rives Junction, on 200 acres of largely wooded land with an array of wildlife. It serves as a spiritual haven, not only for the monastics but also for pilgrims, a place away from the cares and temptations of the secular world, a place for spiritual guidance and growth.
Visitors and groups are welcome at the monastery for the day or for short overnight stays in our guest house. To arrange a visit please see Hospitality and Visitor Guidelines.
To learn more about our life and ministry, please explore the additional sections of our website via the above menu: Our History, Gift Shop, Cemetery, Monastic Life, Iconography Workshops, and how to schedule or attend a Retreat. Under the Services section you will find the daily schedule of services, major feast day schedule of services. Scheduling changes sometimes occur at the last minute, but every attempt will be made to keep the calendar on this Home page accurate.
